Nana Knows Best

Can you believe that it is only Wednesday? I woke up this morning and something reminded me of my Nana. I just couldn't stop thinking about her. Therefore, I wore her skirt. Yep, you heard that right, I wore one of my Nana's skirts. (My nana was 86 when she passed away 4 years ago). It is brown herringbone. Can't go wrong there. She was such a stylish sassy lady. However, I think Nana wore the skirt with the matching jacket. I prefer to wear them as separates. I paired the skirt with my favorite color of green to wear.

I'm having a little bit of writers/bloggers block but I wanted to show off Nana's clothes. Enjoy.

PS- This is a rare occasion occasion in which my hair is straight. What do you think? I think I look like a weirdo but I didn't feel like washing it today.

Sweater: Ann Taylor LOFT
Skirt: Vintage (my nana's)
Boots: Ralph Lauren
Tights: HUE
Necklace: Forever21

  1. love the vintage!! my nana does not own such a garment. (to my knowledge anyway.. i see a lot of nightgowns and slippers and pant suits and sweaters with teddy bears or iconic holiday images with sparkles... not that i don't love what she wears, it makes her nan. and hey, if yours wore this, then that makes her your nan! to each's own.)

PS- hair is good either way, though I prefer curly. it's shagadellic
